Access to these information requires a number of "privileges" which can be flexilby assigned to employees and employee groups.
Additionally, there is special "public" information that allows an employee to present himself to the public. This public information is indexed by the ]po[ search engine.
Payroll captures all costs derived from staff employees. Payroll information is being used by the Timesheet Management module to calculate the real costs of employee participation in projects.
However, ]project-open[ normally doesn't generate payroll documentation, because these documents vary too much between countries and companies.
This modules allows employees to take care themselves of travel expenses. Please see the description of this functionality in the finance module.
The component shows a different employee every time the ]project-open[ homepage is reloaded.
